Cricket Club Policies

Dress Code Policies:

  • General: Members and their guests should be appropriately dressed at all times, including footwear. Clothing that is torn, dirty, and/or bearing profane, vulgar, or offensive language or images is unacceptable anywhere in the Club.

  • Tennis Courts: White attire (no more than 10% non-white)

  • Squash Courts: No attire colour restrictions

  • Pickleball: Played on tennis courts, so likely must follow the Tennis guidelines.

  • Formal Areas (Second Floor Dining):  

    • Business casual

    • Applicable for all ages and all functions including dining, private parties, and special Club events (unless otherwise noted)

    • Shirts with collars and sleeves, turtlenecks, blouses, sweaters, slacks dresses, skirts, dress pants, or dressy pantsuits

    • Dress shoes or dress sandals

    • Junior Members (5-18 yrs.): not required to wear dress shoes

    • Hats or caps are not permitted (except for religious or medical purposes)

    • Smart/dark denim is permitted on the second floor — no rips, please

  • Informal Areas (Main Floor Dining):  

    • Casual attire including athletic wear 

    • Neat and attractive

    • Collared and sleeved shirts, smart t-shirts, golf-style shirts, tops, blouses, sweaters, trousers or tailored knee-length shorts, and smart denim

    • Athletic wear that is appropriate for a family-oriented facility

    • Not permitted: beachwear, bare feet, cut-off shorts, ripped clothing, or offensive t-shirts

    • Swimwear is not permitted in any area beyond the swimming pool enclosure and the family change rooms adjacent to the swimming pool

    • Hats or caps are not permitted (except for religious or medical purposes)

Cell Phone Policies:

  • Cellphone Use: Can send and receive text messages anywhere. Use of cell phones for phone calls is permitted in the front vestibule or the parking lot, or the indoor area just inside the doors that lead to the clay tennis courts. Phone calls are not permitted in any dining areas (indoor and out) or in any other areas inside the club.
